The Jr Titans Cheer Association is commited to enhancing the lives of youth by engaging them in a challenging athletic opportunity. Confidence, leadership, perseverance, bonding and trust are just a few of the many benefits to being a cheerleader!
We provide cheerleading experience for youth in 4th -8th grade who reside in the Northview school cluster.
A parent information meeting was held in April. Team registration is on-going.

COMPETITION TEAM
Our competition middle school team tryouts and program is run out of the Duluth Jayhawks cheer gym. Tryouts for rising 6th-8th grade students were held at Jayhawks in Duluth in late April 2024. Teams have now been finalized! Congratulations to all who made team! Uniform fittings will be done at our first practice in June. Competition team begins practice the first week of June and continues through October. We must have a committed group of at least 12 cheerleaders for the competition team to be formed. SIDELINE TEAM
Our sideline teams are comprised of local youth in 4th-8th grade who reside in the Northview cluster. A parent interest meeting was held spring 2024 to explain the program and committment. Elementary age youth are able to register with no tryout. If you have a elementary or middle school child interested in sideline cheer for fall 2024, please reach out directly to determine if space is still available. A registration code is required in order to complete the registration on our website. This code will be provided after determining space available on our team(s). Our program is a purely volunteer organization and parent involvement is critical to ensure the continued existence of the cheer program. Parent committments will be clearly outlined during our interest meeting and again at our mandatory parent meeting (held once teams have formed). The Jr Titan Sideline team primarily supports the Jr Titan Football teams. Games are held locally each Saturday during the fall.
